Windows doesn't see your hard drive/SSD for installation?

This error occurs if you have a very new computer or laptop. In this case, you need another computer or laptop to download and place the necessary driver on your Windows USB stick to see the partitions. By default, USB sticks do not include these drivers because most laptops and computers function correctly without them.

Steps to put the driver on your Windows USB stick:

1. Insert the Windows USB stick into another computer/laptop with an internet connection.
2. Download Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) from HERE.
3. After the extraction is complete, copy the folder RST_V19.1.0.1001_PV to the Windows USB stick.
4. Insert the USB stick into the laptop or computer where you are performing the installation. At the step where it asks you to choose a partition to install on, if no partitions are visible (image below), then click on "load driver" and follow the steps below:
   Click OK
   
   Click OK
   
   Click on Browser and navigate through the file structure to the USB stick and choose the folder RST_V19.1.0.1001_PV then click on OK
   Choose the first driver option and click on NEXT
5. Now it should look similar to the image below, where you choose a partition to install Windows on. We recommend a minimum of 60GB for Windows space. The installation will continue normally. In case you don't know how to create partitions and only a single hard disk partition appears, do the following:
   – Click on New
   – Then click on Apply; here we will use the entire hard disk to install Windows on it
   – On the next window, click on OK
   – Now Windows will list the partitions automatically created for the system, recovery, and the partition where Windows will reside; click on Next
   
   
   Now Windows will install, and your screen should look like this:
   After the installation process is complete, the computer will restart automatically.
